Peridot Physical Characteristics
Green transparent crystals, often small and flawless. The amount of iron present determines its colour, ranging from lime green to olive green and sometimes a lighter yellowish-green. Peridot forms in magma and is surfaced by volcanic activity. It has also been found on meteorites.
