Kiwi Jasper Physical Characteristics
Kiwi Jasper, also known as Sesame Jasper, is not a true jasper in the geological sense. Instead, it is a composite stone primarily made up of chalcedony, with cream-coloured areas of feldspar, which contribute to its slightly milky appearance. The stone’s soft minty green to turquoise-blue hues are typically the result of feldspar minerals such as albite, or other minerals resembling amazonite. The small black spots or streaks scattered throughout the stone are inclusions of Black Tourmaline.
